Does Cisco Catalyst 5000 Switches still have problem with the 802.1x frame outputs from Windows XP?

Anyone know the answer to this? Only thing I found was that back in April both Microsoft and Cisco acknowledge the issue with the Windows XP beta. Cisco showed on their site how to determine if your switch would be affected and how to fix it but did not update on whether Microsoft's Windows XP still has this issue nor did Microsoft claim that they fixed it.

I know of a site that has CAT 5000 with WinXP enterprise servers and clients in production. They are doing fine.

We are using CAT 4000 in production without a problem as well.

According to Cisco its a select few Cat 5000s with non updated EARLs.. knowing my luck I think mine is in the group of affected ones..
