just found out it's $1.50 per call...

useful info if you use 411.

When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial 1 (800) FREE 411, or 1 (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all, except for the minutes required to make the call. If you are on FREE MINUTES TIME with your calling plan, then you incur no charges at all!

Eh, for the amount of times that I use 411 (once in a blue moon), it doesn't really make a difference.

Ugh, you got me. Tis true, I never do use 411.

I think in the entire time I have had a cell phone (~4 years), I have only used 411 once.

I never used 411 because I didn't want to pay $1.50 to do it. Once I found 800-free-411, I use it quite often.
