Has anyone used the Canada Post email tracking "Request Delivery Updates by email" function?
My financee sent her visa documents to the montreal consulate Xpresspost and she signed up for the email updates BUT she lost the receipt with the tracking number.
The package should have been delivered in 2 days but it has been over a week and she has not got an email about it. I'm wondering if their email updates suck or the package is really not delivered.
I called the DOS to get status and it says they haven't received the package yet but could take up to a month before it is entered into the system.
I am wondering if I should just resend the documents. What do you think? If I wait a month and then check their system again and they are still not there it pushes out our wedding out another month.
