Does Call of Duty have cut scenes?

So I'm playing COD with a widescreen res and in the hack over at widescreengaming.com it says that the cutscenes only play with sound and no video.

I haven't seen any cutscenes, video or otherwise.

The only thing I see is the briefing before each of the major campaigns. Does this game have cutscenes? Are they in the first or third person view?

been so long since i played, i can't remember.
if the hack says that the cutscenes play that way, then that must mean it does. nopt sure why they'd say that if there weren't any.

I really can't remember, either. I'll say this, though: the entire game was of a cinematic nature. Might as well be one giant cutscene.

1st person view. Not really cutscenes per se. Your level would start as normal, but you may not be able to fire, or move out of a vehicle so you are forced to watch something unfold for stories sake. But it's only a few seconds.
All levels end in the same way.

Are the cutscenes worth it?

Usually it's just your squad leader talking, nothing dramatic.
