When asked by Russert if he knew where Bin Laden was, Bush said he can't answer that question.

Maybe that October surprise folks been talking about?

I don't know. He may have him and was waiting to release the info closer to the election. At least thats what a lot of people say. Personally, it won't affect how I vote, but if he does have OBL, then thats great. If not, then we'll get him eventually. His days are numbered.

It won't effect my vote either. I hope he does have him, Presidential race aside!

if he would have said yes then he would be critizised for not doing anything about it, also Bin Laden himself would run to another place
if he would have said no then bin laden would know he was perfectly safe and bush would be critizised for not knowing anything

but if Bin Laden gets captured or killed shortly before the elections we all know why

There is a difference between knowing, suspecting and able to pin-point.

Unless you have concrete info able to be used to go into a physical area with 100% certainty, all one would do is to alert the target and cause it to run and/or go to ground

sure olb's days are numbered, so are everyone else's. the americans arent going to catch him at all, they are getting screwed by alqaida in afghanistan, you guys just believe everything they tell you.

How brain dead can you people be? Bush can't wait until October to release OBL because the backlash would be fierce. He'll announce the capture in September. :)
