Does Blockbuster send home late fee bill in mail?

I returned a movie at 4p.m due at 12p.m. Do they send home a letter saying I owe money and if so how soon should I expect it. Can I pay it off if I don't have the ID. It's a friend's account and I want to just give them their name and pay it off.

If there is a overdue fee, they will let the fee remain on the account so that you pay it next time you come in. But if you dont come in after a while, they will send you a reminder card in the mail.

Yes. Sometimes they screw you over with it too... a day late will be a week late. This happened to me twice. :frown: Hope your Blockbuster is better.

if you wait a long time to pay it, they will send someone a bill.

They only send a bill if the account is really, really past due. Like a couple of months.

I don't see why you couldn't pay off the bill but it would probably be better if you just give your friend the money and say "Sorry dude".

It's been about a week. They probably haven't sent one in yet? I will go pay it off tomorrow.

as was mentioned, they wait a long time before they bill you, they just put it on your account; ive had stuff on there for 2 or 3 months (netflix, so i dont go often) and id go and find out that

a- i didnt have enough money for a movie and a late fee
b- oh i have a late fee, damn

I owe Hollywood Video about $100 too :Q Luckily, they let you make payments
