Career, relationships, and simply life in general.

Someone recently told me that "hot" people simply tend to rock and being very good looking generally helps you reach success more easily.

Most definitely yes. Actually there have been studies that have proven that good looking people (men and women) get better jobs, and get promoted at a much quicker pace then normal to ugly people.

Think about this as well. How many rock stars and/or famous actors have married ugly women? I'm sure there are a few but it's a very very low number.

so you define sucess as marrying rich?

I do agree with the OP statement though

Yes, most assuredly.

Can you still succeed if you're not what society considers "hot"? Sure. If you are one of the "beautiful people", however, you start with a leg up on the competition in all sorts of areas.

Yes, how many super models do you see working at K-mart or Taco Bell? Don't you notice how all the rich and powerful people you meet are much better at maintaining themsevles even though they may not have the best looks.

Anyways, I also read an article saying that taller men are more successful in life haha. At least I got that going for me. Now if only I could become good looking...

Of course.. lol

Especially when the job involves direct contact with the client. If you owned a any company sells a product, any product and you have salespeople, you want those salespeople to be 1) hot young women who know their sh!t, 2) handsome charismatic men. It jus helps, especially when selling to the oppostie sex!

Guys always buy more than they should from women (I don't its the same the oter way around. They think they're gonna get some.. some might.. most won't.

As for the taller man thing.. in a political race. the taller man always gets the edge. Taller is probably better in general then huh?

As for personal.. it jus helps you get laid more.. lol j/k

yes. for instance, if you are a saleperson, with a better look you can make your customers remember you better and keep comming back since people like to see something that look goods. in the same manner, our boss (both your sex or opposite sex) will remember or pay attention to you more than the other ugly or normal looking employees. good looking just help you to stand out of the crowd. it may not an advantage in some particular jobs, but generally, nowadays more jobs require face to face contact than those which dont. so looking good is still an advantage in most situations

indubitably

even when you're younger (HS) and have faults, but have good looks, you don't get called out or teased about your faults.

Sadly, yes. Even the youngest children will respond more positively to those who are more attractive.

I say sadly because attractive people are NOT intrinsically better people. However, over time, I think our true characters etch themselves on our visages.

Mother Teresa= beautiful

Brittney Spears= getting scarier by the minute
