Does Avira have a log file of events (malware found, quarantines, etc.) that I can open from a different computer?
My computer is not booting up. It tries to loads Windows XP (32-bit) but BSODs before it finishes. This occurs even in safe mode.
Before I turned it off, Avira detected a lot of viruses/mal-ware (not quite sure how, but long story). Anyway it may have detected some viruses in Windows system files. I think one of 2 things may have happened...
Either a virus is preventing Windows from loading, or a Windows system file has been deleted/denied access. I need to find out which files, if any. I have another computer I can load the hard disk into. Can I open a log file somehow?
Another possibility is a way to verify the integrity of a Windows install somehow while the hard drive is loaded in another desktop.
