I have one of the Dell 1600sc and need to get a good PCI video card for it. What is a good card that has 128mb ram and PCI.

Thanks

If you have a computer that's so old it doesn't support AGP, I think you would benefit more from a motherboard and processor upgrade.

that is a pretty ignorant statement. there are a lot of brand new, other wise very fast computers that lack an AGP slot.

ATI doesn't make a 128mb PCI card yet, but in 3 weeks or so, Visiontek will release a 128mb Radeon 9100 PCI. That will be the 1st ATI PCI card w/128mb.

i don't think why people want to game on a server. For a server, just get a radeon 32MB PCI -- enough for the admin to do CS gaming at night and resume normal work during the day when his manager's standing behind him.

Dell 600SC was at $269 a couple weeks ago, 2.4 Pent 4 533 fsb w/o Sound, integrated video.
Add $94 nVidia GeForce4 MX440 PCI w/128MB DDR + TV from Pricewatch Specs are here. (Needed a card to play Shadowbane on this, couldn't wait for visiontek's 9100)
Add $58 Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card from Pricewatch (Though I bought mine for $40 somewhere after Gotapex posted it.

Total : $421

Like a few posts point out around here PCI instead of AGP doesn't matter so much with higher RAM. Plus I like big cases :D

And where else would you find a tertiary ide channel?
