I just got an x1950xtx and wanted to know if ATI has something almost ready that will actually compete with the new Nvidia card? With a crossfire mobo, Im just wondering what my options are.

The latest speculations I heard said ATI should have their DX10 lineup out in early 2007. Others said they may push for it to be sooner, though.

R600, 1Q 07. Date subject to change, specs subject to rumors and gossip.

I'd say hopefully it'll be on 80nm or smaller process, but we all know what happens when a company tries to launch a high end product on an untested process. :(

Yeah, everyone is saying Q1 2007. I know, it sucks when you buy a high-end product and have new flagship stuff coming right out.

That would be awesome if they have some competition for it... cause right now it looks like it's untouchable!

I can't wait for the cheaper derivatives. I have a $300 cap for a video card.

Is the 8800 on the 80nm process?
