they probably don't want idiots that think they know what their doing, but really don't to call...
 
They didn't have an toll-free number that I know of but if you do an rma on their web site they will call you. At least they did me.
 
Well there are a lot of possibilities but cussing someone out will probably get you nowhere. And what major problems has the big bad company ATI bestowed on you?

I would try the rma first, that is the way they recommend.
