Does Artic Silver go bad after contact with air?

I have a little tube of as3 that I lost the lid too. I keep it in a box. Any chance the as3 went bad w/ contact with the air?

Squeeze out the section of AS3 that made contact with the air and the rest of the compound should be fine. I hope you didn't retract the tube for storage.
