does arctic alumina dry up?

Most of the various thermal compounds I've tried usually dry out after 2 months, so I was gonna get another batch of stuff. Does AA dry out?

 
Arctic Alumina, which contains no silicone, tends to get thicker over time, not dried. That's a good thing, since it helps to improve the contact between the two surfaces and helps the component stay cooler.
