Does apple g4 powerbooks take any 2.5" harddrive?

I currently have a 2.5" slim hd and want to replace it. Can I buy any 2.5" hd?

Yes. PowerBook G4 uses regular 2.5" notebook drives. Make sure you get one with a parallel ide interface, the PowerBook G4 doesn't use Serial ATA like the MacBooks.

There might also be a height restriction, so check on that. The PowerBook G4 is really thin, so a tall drive might not fit.
