Does AOL work in W2k?

I was able to get a version running in Win2K very well once. 5.0 or 6.0 maybe? Can't remember.

No, it wasn't for me either. All I could think of while I was doing it was what a waste.

4.0 and 5.0 had NT/2000 versions as well. In fact, I would only reccommend using AOL under Win 2000, that way when AOL crashes it won't take the whole OS down, at least that has been my experience with AOL. (I still use it as a backup ISP.)

That's good. I actually use it as a backup ISP on my Win98 partition. But since it works in Win2K that means I can finally phase out that Win98 partition and go all the way with Win2K (in that particular machine -- I have another machine that runs WinXP). :)
