no, this is not ment to be a parody but the other thread reminded me.

whenever i try to go to sleep, my mind just goes bezerk. ill think of anything and everything that i could possibly think of, including what i studied, or what im gunna do tomorrow etc.

it normally keeps me from falling asleep and it sucks, counting sheep doesnt work, running 0's in my brain doesnt either, i just sit and think and think and not sleep

normally takes me 30-60 minutes to fall asleep.

thinkin bout her dont help, my mind will literally think about her, and then suddenly something else will pop into my mind like being hungry, or what im doing for a job, or what my work will be like. its soooo gay.

Well last night I was listening to the "Were gonna see lions! Only in Kenya!" song and when I fell asleep I had a dream about giraffes.

Ugh, I get that pretty bad. I keep a notepad next to the bed and write down all the brilliant ideas I can't seem to have during the day. That usually puts my mind at ease and I can go to sleep peacefully. :)

tylenol PM is indeed your friend. Or exercise more. I find that helps. I used to lie in bed for about 3-5 hours before falling asleep which was terrible. with exercise, etc it's gone down considerably.

I usually think about social situations I had during the day/regrets and what I plan to do the next day. I usually takes about an hour for me to fall a sleep which sucks because I go to be at 12 and will fall asleep at 1 AND I have to wake up at 6:45 so I don't get much sleep :sighs:

Unfortunately I have the same problem falling a sleep. I usually just stare at a specific object in my room in an attempt to keep my mind blank. But it usually doesn't work.

I have suffered with this problem for many, many years. Recently I started taking Melatonin, and it has helped dramatically. I do take 4 at bedtime instead of the recommended dose though, and it took a few weeks to settle into my body so to speak. Now, things are totally different. I fall asleep within 20 minutes and I sleep so much better through the night

All the time.
Usually it is trying to figure out how to apply myself to live a long and productive life for the benefit of mandkind because becoming president will never happen, and coming to terms with myself dying in 75 years...

Putting some music on the computer usually knocks me right out.

Not at all. In fact I have been having quite blissful dreams since I began taking Melatonin. :)

That happens to me every once in a while too, and I hate it... I'll have to be up at 8 or 9am, and it'll be getting on 5am before I fall asleep finally.
