Does anyone work for MS?

A few of my friends do. They're all contracted, some of them have been able to renew. It's sort of an outsourcing thing, from what they've told me it's pretty difficult to get on full time.

my college roommate works there full time. he's a pretty bright guy.
recently he recommended one of our mutual friends to the company. our friend is pretty close to a genius. smartest kid (in CS) that i've ever met. at CMU, in CS classes, he'd blow away the TA's solutions when it came to benchmarks. for some reason MS rejected him.
so i'd say its pretty hard to get in. even if you're brilliant, its still pretty much a crapshoot.

I interviewed in Redmond for a Program Manager position with the Outlook team.

One of my worst interviews ever. Needless to say, I didn't get the job.

difficult, my genious friend got his redmond interview on campus and was later told they couldnt hire him. they wont tell you the reason either.
