Does anyone use their LCD HDTV's as computer monitors? and if so please help me out

so i bought a olevia 532h a 32inch lcd tv monitor. i want to use it to play world of warcraft. at first i used a vga signal, it was fine. then i bought a dvi-hdmi cable, and now im having problems. the screen doesnt fit the whole display, the sides are missing. and im trying to play world of warcraft and the top bottom left and right are cut off by half an inch. and arnt these screnes natively 1366x768, shouldnt i be running it at that. i can only seem to run windows and world of warcraft at 1360x768. ? halpP!

1360x768 is the correct resolution for your display. Make sure you remove any scaling options (fit to screen, etc) both on your TV and in your PC software. 3 pixels on either side shouldn't be all that noticable. It may be that your set has better implementation on the VGA channel like YoYo suggests, but it's worthwhile to try to get the digital channel up and running.

It does sound like a scaling issue. What video card? With nV drivers you can select the option of HDTV and just set the res to 720p. Don't know with ATI.
