does anyone use the original Koolance Exos?

I have it sitting in my closet (haven't touched it for a few years), and I'm wondering if it'll work with my new e2200.

From what I can find, the CPU-200 block will not fit the LGA 775............

"Specifications: Model: CPU-200 G. Compatibility: AMD socket 462, Intel socket 370, Intel socket 478. Dimensions(WxHxD): 1.9" x 2.4" x 0.6" (8.2cm x 6.3cm x 2.4cm). Base Materials: Pure Copper, 21k Gold Plated."

the koolance exos unit is not a great unit. You can buy blocks for it to keep up with newer chipset, but overall the kit isnt that great.

The reason is the usage of alu parts. This limits the range of water products you can use.

Dont mix copper and alu in the same loop. Make sure you look at the wetted materials of any block. If you see copper, dont buy it for your exos.

Also which exos is it?

If you want to pull the exos out, i can recomend you some safe parts for it. However air technology has advanced greatly since exos days. And honestly a Thermalright 120Extreme could keep up with it most likely.

Water projects these days carry a custom tag to it. You need to custom your setup for you to get the benifits.

I'm working on it......lol!

That CPU-200 description may just be outdated. Not sure if the newer adapters for the CPU-300 will fit the older blocks. I sent them an email though, so I hope they respond.

It's the original Exos, btw.
