Does anyone use internet time ?

That site sums up what I think:

The Internet Time system might seem like more of commercial marketing attempt, than a real system.

No, that's just lame Swatch marketing. It's supposed to be a step forward, but seems to me that a time measurement system that lacks time zones seems to be a step backwards. @500 being "noon" implies midday local time, which means the sun must be shining unless you live in a polar region.

It just doesn't make any sense.

It would make the lives of people in the software industry so much easier🙂 Timezones are one of the hardest problems to solve within worldwide IT systems.
