Does anyone use a single wd raptor sata drive on a A8V without issue?

I have an A8V Rev 2 on its way to me and ive read that theres alot of people having issues with data corruption when using single sata drives with the VIA sata controller on the 8237 southbridge. Does anyone have these issues? Is anyone using such singles drives on this controller without any fault??
