Well I was walking to 7/11 from my house it was around 7:30. It was dark out a cop saw me and flashed me with his flash light thing on his car. And then drove toward me and stopped me. He started asking me questions about some guy that ran away. A guy ran away from where he got hit by a car. And he said that he was badly injured but ran away from the cops. The cop then said if you see him call 911.

I just want to know why someone would run away...when they got hit by a car?

 
People run for a lot of reasons. The guy couldn've been doing something illegal or maybe just has some kind of mental problem.
 
The main reason I think someone would run from something like that is the person is wanted by the police on some other charge.
