If so...

1. How long have you been "typing"
2. Do you have any methods? Dvorak? Off-set finger positioning?

Its been 5-7 years and my average is 125 wpm. But for the last 3 years I've been stuck at 110-125. I'm having a hard time getting past 130...

I'm up slightly over 100, learned as I grew up, and played lots of typing tutor games as a kid. Normal QWERTY keyboard. I don't ever, EVER use the right shift key for some reason though

I typed out some random crap at about 50wpm without trying to be quick, just typing stuff from my head.
Dunno how fast I can go, but in a real situation, writing stuff up from my head/sources, probably that same 50wpm.

Descartes does... hey, does anyone know if his first name is Alligator? Because I just bought a Perl DBI book by a guy named Alligator Decartes. Or his name could just be a reference to Rene Descartes...
