Looks like he got partway through the crossing and the arms came down on the payload. I cannot fathom what world he exists in where he then did not slam on the gas to get through the tracks, those stupid arms shouldn't have stopped him.

Also, that train is going really goddamned fast. That isn't some backwoods, you can see commercial buildings.

Pecos is ~12k people. The truck had a pilot car. There is no excuse for the truck to be on the tracks. That's Union Pacific's mainline on a wide open flat stretch. Trains should be expected to be hauling ass.
