I'm looking for a 12" ibook, preferably the 800mhz model with a 30gb harddrive, CDRW/DVD combo.
apple.com sells it for $1299
They have the lower end 12" 700mhz for $999
The only place I know that even sells Apple products are
CompUSA and the military exchange (AAFES)
On CompUSA's website they list MSRP prices.. do they haggle instore ?
Can't logon to aafes.com .. need to get my dad's information.
even if they do have it at MSRP, at least I wouldn't have to pay tax.
I think apple.com doesn't charge tax either.
I also know that you can get a dicount for joining apple student developers. (cost of membership is $99)
The prices are then
$850 for base model 12"
$1105 for upgraded 12"
I am a student, however I'm not a developer and dont take any develper classes, so that probably won't work
