Does anyone sell an adapter to make a cig lighter in a car a standard electrical outlet?

keep in mind you can't run a toaster off one. :)
They work well for carputers and the like.

i can tell you if you get a good one you can run a 27 in TV, VCR, Dreamcast and PS2 off of one, just plug in a powerstrip

makes road trips sooo much more fun

i got mine from fry's..

the max load on the cigarette lighter is 150W, if i want to run something more powerful I got to plug it into my battery directly with the clamps. My unit is rated 400W continuous.

paid 30 bucks for it.. works great.. used it several times.. :)

coleman makes a decent one.. but i like mine.. dont remember who manufactures mine.
