Run Forest ruuuuun!
And if it's to track distance, those pedometers are surprisingly accurate.

And they cost all of $5.

I run with one on the upper decks. Running against the direction of bearing, I can half the speed shown (21 knots service speed) but it's a helluva sprint and people look at you funny so I don't do this often or wait until the wee hours of the morning.

Please explain more... sounds intriguing.

Anybody else have a mental image of the running in car scene in Dumb & Dumber right about now? 😉

I don't run with a gps, but have you check out the Forerunner series by Garmin? They're designed for runnning, link to Forerunner 201, the 301 model has a heart monitor.

It's actually more entertaining to try to get the number as low as possible by running astern. Of course watching the display too much and not watching where I am running could lead to the inevitable! Time to program to plot speed history. 🙂

Well at least I'm actually running. 🙂

Yeah i have seen the forerunner series, but i was wondering how practical it would be to used a handheld that had more capabilities. so i can geocache go on trips and use as a running workout assistant.
