I'm looking to rent a PO Box. On the USPS site, it shows the fees, but doesn't show how frequently it is billed (monthly, yearly, etc?).

LINK

Also, what are your opinions on it? Good? Bad. I know some places won't deliver to PO boxes.

Thanks

Remember nothing sent by FedEx, DHL, UPS, Airborne etc. can be delivered to a PO Box - only items sent through the USPS.

Mine is the smallest size they have and costs $29 for six months. That's how often I pay. If something is too big to fit in the box, they leave you a slip that you take to the window. If that happens every once in a while, no problem. If they see that you're doing that all the time and you NEED a bigger box, they'll make you get a bigger one.

wtf does this mean and why are you posting it in every thread?

sounds like a ban is needed.

Seems we have a fan of "Stargate Atlantis" here! I'm just wondering if he's attained diamond member status just using that line???

Exactly.

My PO Box is $84/yr and it's big enough to hold a weeks worth of mail (about 30 envelopes) with a few thick magazines as well.

I think they price they list is bi-annual (every 6 months). I have the second smallest box, and I pay $40 every 6 months.

I live in apartments... move occassionally, and found it was much easier to use my P.O. Box for all of my mail. I've been using one for almost 6 years now.

FedEx and UPS won't deliver packages there, but they will leave notifications in a P.O. Box. You can provide another (physical) address or go get the package at their depot.
