does anyone remember this movie?

this is probably a terrible description but i havent seen this movie in over 15 years.

it took place in the future (science fictionish) and all the water in the world was controlled by some evil force/government. there was a group of kids who played a rollerball type of game except the ball was a glowing living organism of some sort that flew around. it was a kids movie and was probably horrible but at the time i thought it was great. at the end the kids did something to free the water and the people.

any ideas?

i was thinking it was something like rollerball but thats definately not the title.
 
haha 4.1/10 definately a "Had to Have Seen It When Younger" movie.

kinda like .... The Dark Crystal

though I think the latter is better

I still like The Dark Crystal. In fact, my wife hates that 'mmmm' sound the Skeksis make in the movie, so once in a great while I do it to annoy her. 🙂
