Does anyone remember "Fleer" bubble gum from 80s/90s?

Not the baseball cards, but the bubble gum you could buy stand-alone. It said "Fleer" on the wrappers I'm about 99% sure. It had a real good, unique taste. Is it still around? I cannot find it for the life of me.

Thanks.

I was more partial to the Big League Chew bubble gum. It had a better taste than Fleer and it came shredded in a pouch. It was the next best thing to getting your older buddy to buy you a tin or swiping some out of your dads.

I'm curious whether anyone has any real insight as to the topic of this thread, as set forth in my first post?

I only insight I can offer as to the topic of this thread is that the first post referenced a certain “Fleer” gum, which apparently presented a unique flavor.

I learned that a LONG time ago Fleer was just a gum company and the cards were like a bonus, then they eventually became a card company and the gum was a bonus.

Fleer was a candy company founded in late 1800’s. Double Bubble is the bubble gum Fleer invented…first of its type I think.

Fleer was baseball cards when I grew up in the 1950’s-1960’s.
