I was listening to Gorillaz- Clint Eastwood and then I realized the main singer of it was 'Del tha Funkee Homosapien' and then I remembered he was also the main rapper in Deltron 3030. Just recently I started listening to them again and it's quite amazing.

Also, Deltron 3030 is apparently going to be releasing a new album this year, according to Dan the Automator.

:music:
Automator harder slayer fascinating combinations
Cyber warlords are activating abominations
Arm a nation with hatred we ain't with that
We high-tech archeologists searching for nicknacks
Composing musical stimpacks that impacts the song
Crack the motor what you think you rappin for?
I used to be a mech soldier but I didn't respect orders
I had to step forward, tell them this ain't for us
Living in a post-apocalyptic world morbid and horrid
The secrets of the past they hoarded
Now we just boarded on a futuristic spacecraft
No mistakes black it's our music we must take back

Del has a buncha albums out, he is very creative, I never really thought of Deltron 3030 as a group, but I suppose it could be. You should check out No Need For Alarm which is his 2nd album, very good stuff. His first was great too (I wish my brother George was here) very different from anything else he's done though.

Fvck yeah, that is my favorite hip-hop album. I used to listen to it all the time back in the day, not so much anymore though. Del (and Dan the Automator) are some seriously talented dudes.

And I did hear about the new album... hopefully it'll be as great as the last one though that'll be hard to match.
