Anyways, it was a old, old (1992) game that was my first experience with shareware. You had to fly around in this thing and shoot down spinning UFO's. It was actually a really good game, with some sound and it is actually 3D (well, really crappy 3D).
[rant]FYI, I downloaded it on my dad's 486 33-DX with 8 MB of ram running win 3.11 with a 28.8K modem. At that time, I actually used hyperterminal and dialed into the university server and used LYNX (!!!) to surf and download.
When I was really happy though, was when I got to use the machines at the computer labs, ie... the Alpha machines with X-Windows. It was so blazing fast at that time, and remember, this was 1995.[/rant]
