This video camera has built in face tracking and can automatically scan up and down and left and right and even 3x digital zoom. I have read through a dozen reviews and have not found the answer I am looking for. I want to know if I can place it in my window and scan with it back and forth up and down and zoom from my desktop using it as a cheap spy camera. Based on all the reading I have done it appears that it is face scan or nothing but I find that hard to believe when it could be used for other things as well.
