So this friend knows someone else who can get me an Asus G1SN-A1 laptop for $1300. It's the cheapest price I've seen anywhere, and he's willing to drive me there (it's kinda far) because he's getting the same laptop. So I'll be paying only $1300 + tax for the laptop.

Specifications here: http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g1...ing-laptop-p-2372.html

Now, I haven't been able to find a single detailed review for the laptop, so I have no clue if it's any good. I've looked up the individual components, but I don't know if there are any flaws in the build or if it is cumbersome and uneasy to use.

So anyone who owns this laptop, either the G1Sn-A1 or the G1Sn-B1, what do you think of it? Is it worth getting? I don't REALLY need this laptop, but I'll be replacing my Dell Inspiron real soon anyways, so I might as well get something now.

That's the standard price, not a good deal. And have you seen one in person? They are ugly as sin... looks like a 13 year old "gamer" designed it.

well if you can get the Asus G1SN-b1 for that price it might be a good deal...well in relation to the standard price which is 1700-1800
but yea its pretty fugly, and the 9500 isnt anything special, just a rebranded 8600 series gpu which is pretty ancient tech. also considering the screen resolution is 1680x1050..well i dont think gaming would be too good on it. not with current and future games at least or not without dropping the resolution, which would make it look unpleasant
