I spent $200 on a Hoover Wetvac and in less than 2 months, it has this grinding, whistling, irregular sounds and vibrations which started to progress over the past couple of weeks.
So I decided to take it apart and found that part of the motor is all rusted over and corroded and shit.
I follow the instructions exactly and figure this is some sort of design flaw. It's probably from water vapor which goes through the filter or even humidity and salts in the air.
upon putting it back together, now the scrubbers mysteriously don't work anymore and it really grinds like there is a huge rusty brillo pad inside but there isn't and it lost about 30-40% suction power.
does anyone have wetvac expertise? Can someone recommend me a better wetvac?
