Does anyone NOT have a Facebook page?

I'm in my 20's and my g/f and all of my friends are on Facebook. But I do not have one and do not want one. It seems like too much of a hassle.

I don't have one.

To quote Malcom Berko:

Lastly, I am not on Facebook because I don’t have self-image problems, I’m not insecure, I don’t need “gang” approval of my daily behaviors, I have few friends because I place a high personal value on “friendship,” I enjoy my own company, I enjoy reading books, I’m not intimidated by face-to-face relationships, and I value intelligent conversation. Frankly, I can’t imagine a single benefit that would accrue to me from a Facebook membership.

Well that's a stupid argument. I'm fine in all of those categories as well, but I still have a Facebook account. I use mine to keep connected with family and to more easily share videos/pictures.

Well I am one of those who opens and closes it. I opened it this time since my family/friends are 10K miles away. It makes it relatively useful to keep in contact.

Nope...no facebook page...no myspace page, I don't tweet on twitter, none of that.

In fact, the only time I've ever been to facebook or myspace, it was following a link from here.

I have one. I pretty much always have it open in a tab somewhere, but I don't really care much about what goes on, facebook is great for pictures and having conversations with friends etc, it's especially good for organizing parties and events. I'm not all that bothered by the privacy issues, mostly because I don't put anything on there I wouldn't want random people to see and I have it pretty well locked down as far as strangers and apps goes.

I have one but don't use it a great deal.

That Malcom Berko is talking rubbish though, there are obvious benefits to using it.

I've kept mine so far for the pleasing of the fools I have to put up with. I barely use it and generally don't add anyone unless they request so.

Not me. Never have, never will. Seems to be a pretend way of "staying in touch." That way, you don't have to actually pick up the phone or haul your ass somewhere to actually see them. Lazy technology for lazy people.

I have no desire to see the throngs of people i choose not to involve in my daily life.
