Does anyone make a pot pie that isn't laden with salt?

Enjoying a Chicken Marie Callender right now, but 800mg of sodium. I think the Turkey ones have even more. The cheaper 99cent Walmart brand have even more salt and are half the size.

Salt's what makes it delicious. Look for "healthy" or organic pies. They likely have less salt than average, but of course won't taste as good.

Salt? Good question.
Im waiting for the food industry to wake up and offer "reduced salt" food items, just as they did with fats and sugars in food. Potato chips, fries, crackers, all food items need way less salt.
And they can reduce salt without harming the flavor by "dusting" food items with smaller dust-like salt particles. The flavor stays the same, with a lot less salt intake.
Salt is just as bad as sugar and fats when it comes to food.
I cannot believe not one name brand potato chip company has not come out with reduced salt chips.

Salt is what makes it taste good. Don't like it, dont buy it, that simple.

I have no problems eating a ton of salt, but then again, I have low blood pressure and am in good health. Salt is vital to our survival so just eat the damn pot pie already.

The food manufacturers have adopted the policy of "If you can't make it good, make it salty," because salt enhances flavors.

(kind of like the bar bands who follow the old policy of "If you can't play good, play loud.")

you're not likely going to find anything in the frozen dinners section of the super market that isn't loaded down with salt.
