Does anyone make a decent LED 32" display with a VGA input port?

I can find like 2 Sony and 2 Vizio LCD, but isn't anybody putting a VGA port on a screen that size anymore? Isn't there any LED screens with VGA ports? I guess it's all HDMI huh?

Why would you want Analog signal when you can have Digital?

VGA is a thing of the past.....and for a good reason.

I know, but sadly every PC we have onsite at work has a VGA port in it and people like to hook up with that port rather than use HDMI or various adapters. I wouldn't buy one personally of course.

The problem with TVs that have VGA ports is that the resolution is limited to 1024x768 on it so it ends up looking like trash. Wouldn't it be simpler to just train everyone on using the HDMI?

people lug their pc to the tv??? 😕

.

laptops, unless new don't have HDMI/DP outputs. my work laptop only has a VGA out, its a 3 year old HP, im not even sure the ones they gave out this year have HDMI ports (i checked they don't) HP Elite books

also when connected to the dock it wont push 1920*1200 to a 2nd display over DVI, only over VGA

Probably simpler just to equip the monitors with USB->DVI/HDMI adaptors (about $45 at Monoprice). That's the setup my brother is using on his crappy work-issued laptop...

VGA is stone age.

Thanks for the thoughts and links to other products. I may opt for a VGA to HDMI converter (or USB to HDMI) that way I can expand my search for good affordable LED TVs. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. I just never put much thought into VGA but have a project at work I was searching for TVs for. Thanks again!!

As long as you understand my links are examples and not endorsement for those particular products 😎

I would say the usb one is a little more futureproof

Understand 😉 - Basically Samsung tech support told me they would not work and they don't support these types of adapters....but you could tell they had to say it from a support standpoint. Crutchfield told me they should work.

I don't believe anybody makes a 32 inch LED display. At best, you will find a "led backlit" display, which is just a regular lcd, except the light source is an LED.
