Does anyone like to read the plot synopsis before watching a movie?

I know doing that spoils the movie but I hate surprises so I always read the synopsis before watching it.

But I don't let my g/f know because she won't go watch a movie with me if she thinks I watched it or if I know what happens.

No. I almost never watch trailers and try to read as little as possible on a movie I want to see.

I don't usually have much interest in movies that rely heavily on twists and/or extreme spoilers.

I often do that to see if I want to watch the movie at all. I don't mind the spoilers because movies are short enough that it makes little difference to me. most movie plots are predictable enough anyway.

absolutely not.

i like to know as little as possible going into a movie. i tell my wife all the movies i want to watch, she manages the netflix queue i never know what movie its going to be until it starts. knowing ahead of time results in too many occurrences of not 'feeling' like watching a movie...

trailers are the worst...

I always read the synopsis before committing 1-3 hours to a movie. There is just too much out there to go off of anything else.

If it's a movie i know i'm going to want to watch anyway, then i try to stay away from information on it, other than trailers.

For movies i'm not sure on, i will sometimes, as i hate wasting money/time on crap movies...lord knows i've done that enough already.

No. I switch channels so I don't have to see the teaser for next week's show, too.

Not always, but often. Usually watch trailers for most too.
