Well, it's not exactly vaporware until someone has announced it and it hasn't appeared. Just because Intel says they support it doesn't mean you can necessarily buy it, it just means the chipset is capable of using them once they're available. Getting memory at those densities and those speeds isn't that easy, you can certainly expect to pay through every available orifice for those modules. Even PC2700 1GB modules with 2.5-3-3 ratings cost more than buying 2 512MB modules with 2-2-2 ratings. Not even Pricewatch lists any 1GB modules yet, and they've usually got listings before a product is even announced.
