does anyone know where I can get a side panel for my Antec SX1040BII?

Bought this case about a year ago and I was looking at getting the side panel with the window and exhault hole.

I was going to get it at Microcenter but they were out last week.

I called today and they still don't have it and they said that the product has been discontinued :Q

I haven't been able to find anything online either.

And of course now that I can't seem to find it now I really want it😉

This is my case.

I have noticed the chieftec case looks VERY SIMALAR to this case and was wondering if there were any other cases that I could try and find the side panel for.
 
I'm pretty sure Antec sells some on their website. I was looking at these a while back. They charge a lot though. I think it's about $30 for this side panel. I think directron sells some chieftec side panels that will fit the antec case. I don't know what colors they have though.
 
Dont buy the antec one. Go to newegg.com and search for the cheiftec one. its like half the price and works perfectly on the antec 1040. Im considering of getting it myself.
 
just take it slowly and use a file or sanpaper to smooth out the edge. I mean theres gonna be a grill on top of it any way so even if its a little off you wont notice
 
I really liked the antec side panel they used to make (it would appear that they are no longer making it.)
it had the fan IN THE WINDOW😀

My Case is Black 🙁

I have been able to find the Brown and mettalic but not black.

Edit -> that is exactly what I wanted to get only in black
 
Your case isn't exactly jet black... more like charcoal black... if you don't trust any of those even though they're antec... maybe you can try antec directly... 🙂

Antec also does not have the black only the tan and mettalic🙁
 
I think I may have seen a site with it. But it's an site in Canada. I'll have to check my links. BTW, what's the part # for it? And if this site's in Canada you'd probably have to pay duties at the border and slightly higher shipping. Let me know and i'll check my links.
 
See, conversly, I've been thinking of getting a new panel for mine without a window. Do you think it would be less loud? I'm looking at the SP10FB.
