This W7 has bugs, and microsoft did say they would release a service one pack long time ago. Does anyone know when were going to see a SP1

There is a SP1 beta or whatever and that doesn't cut the rug.

Thanks

:)

as long as you are fully up to date using windows update you don't really need sp1, as it will only contain the updates till now. Only thing added is an updated Remote Desktop to work with Server 2008 R2 features.

As for a timeline they have not given one

I hope they fix the "hang-at-shutdown-bug". I've installed the patch they released for it but didn't resolve the problem.

The only thing I hate about service packs is that they usually screw up my concurrent RDP sessions...and I have to wait for someone to re-patch it.

Guys W7 has stupid bug where folder size doesnt keep in memory for each item. everything you open up has to be same size window. If you make it smaller then another folder you open will show you smaller,,,,, stupid bug also the bug where you right click some files to delete and nothing happens for few seconds then the menu comes up,, wat up with that,, I think W7 needs not security fixes but to optimize their OS and make it how vista was with sp2.... cant even save window size for each folder.. sad sad bug which Im hoping SP1 will fix, thats all that bothers me and the deleteion of file thing I mentioned..

If those are your only complaints, you have too much time on your hands. I'd personally dispute that window size is a bug, I prefer it, so I'd think it is a feature. ;)

Like other's have said SP1 will just give you what you can download a la carte. The second bug sounds like install related, something is tied to explorer more than likely and causing the delay.

What shows up when you right click on general files in the menu?

It's adding support for USB 3.0 also, not that I give a shit. That can be offered as a separate download I assume.

Its funny tho seriously also another bug is how it cant remember icons in folders.

like apps ,, large icon,, it has to load them up each time, it doesnt pop up instantly like vista or xp actually. stupid microsoft I swear,, shheeeeez Even if my icon cache is 8mb every reboot open up stuff like control etc, it loads the icons,, which is stupid when XP didnt do this. I Vista is the same way but Iim shure I remember in XP you open up folder and baaam with all the icons showing at once,, not having to use hd and load each icon pic of a app. Many bugs W7 has,,, SP1 before 2011 you ms whores,, and WIndows 8 is coming out in 2011 LOL I aint switchin I tell u that much Ill stick with a SP1 OS, not a newer buggier OS then 7 ,,, micrsofot blows goat.. thx
