Does anyone know what an average strippers salary is?

It varies ALOT. In the right place it is not terribly unusual to average $500 a night. The best average closer to $900. If you are in a bad place, place you have to tip out alot, or just aren't very good, then maybe $100 a night. It is very hard work though, and with the BS they put up with they deserve the cash.

I remember an article in one of those car magazines... two editors rented a Ferrari 360... went to a strip club to showoff their car... one of the strippers ask why didn't they buy the 550 instead... hahahahahaha... 😀
 
This stripper I talked to in Austin told me she makes between 300-600 dollars a night. She said she has mostly good nights, but it depends. By day she works at some biochemical lab.

edit: And I don't think she uses drugs. She looked pretty clean cut.

Because I have known many strippers and have heard many stories from them about what they are offered...
 
I used to date a girl whose sister was a stripper at the Gold Club in Atlanta.
I think she made around $100,000.
I think that is near the top.
I know you hear they make like $200,000 but that must be exagerated or rare.
 
I had a few friends that were strippers and they said that they make on average $350 a night. I never went to go watch them perform though. Like other people said, it varys a lot.


I wonder what happens after they get older?

I've dated a stripper and I know three others and none of them are druggies, or have ever gotten offered drugs. Maybe it's just over where you live.
 
In Nevada, strippers are independent contractors... they normally have to pay to strip at a club (there are some exceptions), so what they make really depends on their deal with the club owner and how many tips they make.

I have A LOT of clients who are dancers (they usually get pregnant and can't strip, so they get on welfare for the duration of their pregnancy not knowing you have to WORK or look for work to be eligible for money), some of them make a ton of money when they're working. I must note, all of them have great bodies but most of them have really horrible, rotten/black/brown teeth for some reason *cough*crank*cough*

I usually make $600 - $800 per night. More if it's a holiday weekend. That's working Fri/Sat/Sun nights.
