Does anyone know the name of this Spyware?

(ugh.. i pressed cancel instead of preview.. had to type this out agian :/)

about 20mins ago I noticed a strange link in a webpage.

The link has a coloured underline and points to a webpage selling stuff. it also has a little OnMouseOver with a text preview of the page.

it is quite obviously an ad. what's strange is that there on every webpage i go to(yes, even anandtech.com )

what gets me is how it was able to install itself without me knowing.

Thats a little strange. Almost like Microsoft's new SmartTags, but I thought they looked different then that. I've never seen them in person, only in screenshots. Did you recently install IE6 preview?

I uninstalled the kaaza software i had on my computer... but the ads are still there :/

will i have to reinstall ie to get rid of em?

Did you check the registry to make sure it still isn't loading something on startup?

Also, might check your plugins folder for anything strange

Last resort, search the web for kazza or whatever its called. There should be sites on removing it.

a program called "Hotfix"
