Does anyone know the average salary of a post woman/man working for USPS?

He's talking about USPS as in Postal Service

Since they are governement employees I imagine the same pay grading system applies as to other federal employees. Just google for federal pay scale.

Depends on positions. Most mail handlers/clerks are PS-05. If they are at top step, they're making over $40k.

starting salary in SJ is $13.50. my friend who worked their always got overtime pay everyday which is 150% or 20 bux an hour, but he hated it and would never work their again after the summer. they forced him to do 10-12 hours work a day (graveyard shift), and his hands covered with blisters quickly. he says in their off time the other workers played soccer or football with the packages.

My wife thought about doing part-time work for the USPS and took the test. She got a couple notifications to come in for part-time carrier jobs for $16/hour but they were walking routes in bad neighborhoods in the summer, so she didn't take the position. In December you can make good money but you are required to work massive hours.
