Does anyone know the 1000hz mouse patch??

Its been a while since i did the usb patch to increase the frequency of my mx510 from 150hz to 500hz. I checked back at that site again and under the 1000hz patch, it says REMOVED. I can't help wonder why.. And does anyone have this 1000hz patch?? I really want to try it, as the 500hz patch has made a huge noticeable difference!!
 
Removed because it's not supposed to go that fast and will only cause problems. 250 is night and day from 125. 500 is no noticeable change from 250. You think 1000 is really going to benefit you at all? Realize what you are modifying...
 
"Realize what you are modifying..." "LOL,, Not really" i know itz got ta do with the usb port, but i don't see where harm could occur!!
 
I really don't know if damage could occur, but there is virtually no difference between 500hz/1000hz in terms of precision/responsiveness. Stick with 500hz, it's plenty.

Oh, and the MX510 can't go above 500 anyway. 🙂

Some Razer mice and probably the MX518/1000 are different, but I really don't think anything much higher is necessary.
