Hi, everybody.... I have a PC with GA-7VRXP motherboard with Duron 1.0 GHz...

Now, I planning to upgrade to AMD Athlon XP....

Question.....

Can I running AMD Athlon XP 2400 with this GA-7VRXP motherboard??? I try to look for some information from Giga-byte website... but, I not really get an answer... I just want to know it can running great in this motherboard before I order it.....

There appear to be three PCB revisions of the 7VRX family. For the 1.1 revision (the first one) it says it supports the 2400+. For the rev. 2 and rev. 3, it just says "Coming soon!" I think they do support the 2400+, but I can't guarantee it based on the (lack of) information from Gigabyte.

I have the GA-7VRXP rev 2.0 and it does support AXP2400+
