does anyone know of monitors that support DP daisy-chain (MST)?

so I'm going crazy trying to find reliable information on how to daisy chain a pair of DP 1.2/MST-compatible monitors into my SurfacePro 3 (SP3).

what I want to do:

take a pair of DP 1.2 monitors capable of doing the MST-pass-thru, and plug both of them into the mini-displayport using pass-thru. So plug monitor A directly into the SP3, and plug monitor B into the displayport of monitor A, so that i can have multiple screens.

i saw that the Dell U2414H was supposed to support it, so I bought 2 of them. apparently it doesn't, or perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Each monitor works fine plugged in individually, but when I try to use the DP-in and DP-out, they won't work together, one of them (the one plugged directly into the DP on the SP3. I have tried every combination of DP and mini-DP possible between the 2 monitors. Regardless of which combo I try, the monitor that plugs into the laptop works, the monitor that plugs into the other monitor does not.

Help?! Please? This si driving me crazy, and I cannot seem to find any definitive answers. I'm probably searching on the wrong terms but I'm finding out that apparently the U2414H is notoriously problematic with daisy-chaining

You may have already read/followed this guide already but if not it may help. I know on my Dell (U2715H) there is a setting in the OSD menu that turns on DP 1.2 which is off by default.
