Does anyone know of a wallet that doesn't get all my cards dirty?

Every wallet I've had gets my bank cards and AAA cards and all the other cards I have in there dirty. They get all kinds of crap on them, even though I wash my pants after each time they're worn.

Does anyone know of a good wallet that doesn't get all your stuff dirty? I need a new one, anyway.

Mine's leather, made by dockers... never gotten anything dirty, although I've never had a wallet get anything dirty.

I think I know what you're talking about. It's not so much that the cards get dirty but that the top part gets all scratched and chewed up. I haven't figured out why this happens either.

Go to your local bank and ask for ATM card sleeves. I use these and they keep my cards in good shape, and my mag strips always work.

Maybe you're wearing cheap leather, so then combined with your sweaty ass, it bleeds some of the wallet coloring onto your cards? Dunno, just thinking...

I use a Levi's red tab leather wallet.

Sort of...hmmm...let me see if I can post a pic of what I'm talking about.

Okay, here's my bank card. Sorry it's so blurry, but I'm paranoid about security. But, you can see at the bottom left there's a circle around the dirt, and, while you can't see the magnetic stripe clearly, it's got the same type of dirt around it.

I'm just worried that my bank card will get too dirty and won't work some day...which would be inconvenient. So, I think if I get a new wallet, I'll request a new Visa check card from my bank.

Any help??

And, just to point out, my wallet isn't leather...it's nylon, from Eddie Bauer. The wallet's been great, really durable, but the dirt is just annoying me all to hell.

<shrug> Mine is a leather dual-fold from Eddie Bauer. Had it for ~1 year now with no complaints.

No, that's not my problem at all. That just looks like dyes rubbing off from the wallet.

Not really...I know it's not dyes because I can scratch the dirt off w/my fingernail. I wonder if it has something to do with keeping my change in the actual wallet in the change compartment.

Coins are usually really dirty, that might be my problem.

I hate keeping coins in my wallet. I can feel em rubbing against my ass when I'm sitting for a long time. :Q Also, with leather wallets, they can leave an imprint.

Nylon eh? Sounds nice. Try getting a quality leather wallet.

I have the same problem with my wallet. I wash my trousers every single day and I keep my wallet really clean, but my cards get this light brown crud all over them still. I think perhaps it is just from your hands when you use them daily. The dirt builds up and causes this I think, I really don't know though.

Just go to your department store, most sell at least 50 - 100 different kinds of wallets.

I bought a Nautica tri-fold for $20 that was on sale at Meier & Frank.

Try making one out of duct tape..... or use a money clip.... or a credit card necklace.
