Does anyone know of a Unix server(s) on the net for practicing commands?

I'm trying to learn some of the basic Unix commands and I was wondering if there any servers on the net setup for that kind of thing. Anyone know of a few?

I would just get vmware beta for free, and put BSD on a VM. I think pcbsd even provides a working VM image.

go here and download the "Live CD". Burn the disk, stick it in your CD drive, and then boot off the CD. YOu have a complete linux installation on a CD and you can play with it all you want, and you don't have to change anything on your hard drive.

cygwin, so when you see how powerful some of the commands are, it will already be available for you to use on your windows machine 🙂

or, sign up for one of the free hosting offers, get some webspace and ssh in. you can build a website and learn some linux stuff at the same time. the utility of this may be diminished depending on what the host gives you permission to do...
